GDK x Wirelss Festival

THE BRIEF

Our client German Doner Kebab is a restaurant chain with about 200 restaurants across the UK. GDK became the official partner for the Gopuff Delivers Wireless Festival 2023. Due to this, GDK hosted the GDK Drip Awards to create hype around the partnership with the festival, and to encourage people to visit the GDK pop-up restaurant at the festival.   


The GDK Drip Awards is a celebration of festival fashion. Bad Orange PR were commissioned to recruit a talent to be the Drip Ambassador to interview GDK guests about their outfits over the weekend.

Our Approach

 

For this activation we recruited viral TikTok influencer A1 2Funny to be the official Drip Ambassador. A1 2Funny has over 2 million followers across TikTok and Instagram. 

 

Our goal for this activation was to create authentic content that easily engages with the audience.

In the content A1 2Funny is seen interviewing some of the festivals best dressed. Each day there was one official winner for the best dressed attendee, who would receive the Immaculate Drip Award Trophy

 

Bad Orange directed the content and organised all of the assets to be distributed across GDK & Gopuff Wireless Festival social media channels.

We pride ourselves in helping brands take risky opportunities in youthful content creation and engage gen-z audiences. This content project was heavily featured on GDK & GoPuff Delivers Wireless Festival website, social media & email marketing campaigns.
